Send the exact Bars.co.uk page, what you think is wrong and what it should say.
Find the source
We check whether the information came from the Food Standards Agency, the venue, an audit or our own calculation.
Check
The data provider or authorised reviewer checks the evidence. Bars.co.uk does not change official facts by itself.
Update
An approved change keeps its source label. We add a dated note when an important public fact changes.
Identity and ownership changes
A new operator, trading name or address may affect a venue claim or standard result. We do not automatically move self-certified or audited status to a new operator. Send the public venue ID and evidence of the change. The page may show that a review is in progress.
Fair handling
We may not use the exact wording you request. We keep a record of changes and only collect personal information that we need. An affected venue can reply when it disputes an important statement from a venue or audit. We never hide a valid safety concern in exchange for correcting unrelated information.
